Proceeds from Windmill Wonderland
Producers of independent Leamington FC fanzine "Windmill
Wonderland" have handed over a cheque for £900,
raised from sales last season, to put towards the Terrace Fund.
Thanks to a magnificent
gesture from Leamington-based TW Printing to print the fanzine
free of charge, the WW team has been able to raise over £1,000
in total from the seven issues sold last season, more of which
will be handed over to sponsor a player for the forthcoming
campaign.
The fanzine has grown in popularity over the last year or so,
with many people at the club, from board members to players
and supporters, snapping up their copies as it regularly
sold out.

Chairman Mick Brady (centre) accepts
the cheque from Peter Davis and Paul Edwards.
In case you are wondering, the cardboard Labrador
is Nimrod, a big Brakes fan despite being recycled.
Editor Paul Edwards said: “ We are just happy that we
are able to produce something that a lot of people at the club
enjoy reading, and it helps the fans to put a bit back into
the club, in return for the fantastic entertainment we have
received from the players. Myself and Peter Davis are indebted
to Terry at TW Printing for his wonderful gesture to print
the fanzine free of charge. We went to them last pre season
to see what rates they were able to offer us, but it is thanks
to them that we have been able to raise such an amount".
Windmill Wonderland will be available at regular intervals throughout
next season, from the usual band of enthusiastic sellers.
